Great people to deal with

So friendly and polite! A pleasure to work with:)

The service that was provided to us by Greg Brady at First National Sarina was professional at the highest level - from start to finish of buying our house. Communication over long distance and over an extended period of time was never a problem for Greg. We are most grateful to Greg for his assistance with what could have been a very complex situation. Thank you!

It is with regret and a great deal of frustration that I am posting this BUT as a past landlord of a property listed with First National real estate Sarina, the day I informed them I wanted to remove the property from listing and move back in the issues started. When we arrived back in the Mackay area we drove past our house (WHAT A SIGHT) tarps hanging off the front and back of the house and three big dogs in the back yard and chickens and ducks also in the back yard and all the property manager could say was I have informed the tenants to get rid of then weeks ago (but still they stayed) as the next words out of her mouth was dont rock the boat they will be gone soon. I have spent the last few weeks cleaning up the yard and removing all the screws from the front and back verandah posts where the tarps were. The tenants even failed their last inspections and had to have a second inspection but still no alarm bells rang. As the landlord you have very little rights, as I found out, as the time approached for the tenants to vacate the real-estate informed the tenants that the date was 30th not the 29th as in the contract the tenants refused to move out, when they did several days later WHAT A MESS, It was only then when we asked First National about our landlord insurance, to our surprise we were informed by the director of the real estate (W,P) that they had let ours and others insurance laps and they were not sure who was or was not insured. (FANTASTIC)We had been asking for more that twelve months about the policy details and who the insurance was through with no reply until we want to take over our house. We had argued repeatedly to get the real estate to clean the house and return the house to the state on the entry condition report, the property manager kept using old reports and trying to use old photos from 2014 without time and dates on them to justify why she didnt have to do any work. My eldest daughter posted a comment on First Nationals web page, the response was almost instant (with a e/mail and threat). Below is an extract of a message sent to my phone.(Hi Mark, this is Wendy Pollock. As my email stated I have organised for the cleaner to return and do the shed and re do the bathroom. Secondly, I expect your daughter to re-move her incorrect google review. If not, I will discuss when I call my actions). (the incorrect information Wendy is referring to is First National has had the listed property for the last Two and half years, BUT Wendy has had the property for the last ten and half years).First National finish the cleaning then handed the keys back, and then informed us that they were going to forward the bond to us and then we would have to pay the cleaning bills as the cleaning bills were more than the Bond, so I will be out of pocket.Bill number two the Tenants were running up very large water bills in the property, First National were informed, less than half of the bill was issued to the tenants, six months later on payment + they continued to run up another big water bill when I raised this with the property manager I was told not to rock the boat and she did nothing, now I have a water bill over $1000.00 and no way other than court (more cost) and a real estate that has wiped there hands. NOT VERY GOOD PUBLIC RELATIONS FOR FIRST NATIONAL FRANCISE in Mackay / Sarina and Nebo

If I could put no stars, I would. Parents had a property with this trusted company for more than 10 years and when they wanted to move back into the property, the tenants prior destroyed the property. Holes in walls and filthy (black) floors. Not only did this company allow these tenants to further live in the property and pass the inspection, but when the tenants moved out, the property wasnt cleaned by the companys preferred cleaners. Bad customer service and no willingness to help. Would not trust this company to lease your house. Disgusting.
